First, Let me share this unique and very fascinating handicraft made of Young coconut leaves. My Husband decided to created this Cross shape made of young coconut leaves last day because it was Palm Sunday. He made lots of it and it takes almost half an hour before it was completely finished.
The farm was very quite and only winds and swaying of leaves can be seen and heard here at the place. Swepping in the yard is still okay except Tomorrow Good friday. This morning, My Husband's Brother were decided to clean the surroundings, this is one of His obligations while I kept myself busy playing with my Daughter inside the house. It takes almost an hour before it was completely finished cleaning the front yard at the house. It was very hot sunny day that is why the obligations can do and finished in time.
He also cleaning the other side of the yard, it is very nice that place is always clean. The dry bamboo leaves can easily removed and swept because it does not stick to the ground and my Husband's brother did his obligations on time. Only light Jobs or a simple Works can be done this day, except for Farming and constructions activities.
Next, I decided to watered my Newly planted young cacao plants. I noticed that the soil was completely dry because of the intense heat happens here due to summer season. I hurriedly got my Water sprinklers, filled with water and I watered my Young Cacao Plants. Cultivating is not Good on this day until Saturday, that is also one of our Beliefs during Holy Week and I can't cultivated the soil so I only watered it so it wont dry. I watered all four young cacao plants and checking those leaves to see if there are harmful insects lives in the leaves.
Yesterday's Activities: Harvesting Bananas:
Flash back yesterday, Me and My Husband were decided to harvest Bananas near at the river and we did it early in the Morning. Luckily, the banana was not contain any single damage and our plan for this is to put at the sack so it will ripe very instantly. We are very happy that finally, after a few years of waiting our Hardworks and dedications paid off, and aside of that we already seen the fruitful result by doing harvesting.
The next thing we did was to separate those bananas on its stalks and we put it in a clean sacks. It takes only a few minutes doing the work and I was having a lot of fun time helping my Husband. He carefully cut those stalks using a sharp bolo.
While putting those bananas in the sack I also remembered the best and organic ways so the fruits will become ripe instantly without using any synthetic materials. My Grandma me teached what are some best ways to make the fruits ripe and this is by covering it with lots of Madre de Cacao leaves. Good thing the farm contains lots of Madre de Cacao trees and we hurriedly went to the place to gathered lots of leaves. After a few minutes, we went backand begun covering those bananas with lots of Madre de Cacao leaves and tied the sacks using rope. This is very effective because I already tried it many times and the riping process is very Natural.
We also checked and explored the Farm for a few minutes, searching for any coconuts falled to the Ground. The place is already covered with wild grass and must be clean but due to holy week we can't clean the place. My Husband's Farm animals like this Carabao was already tied and gladly we gathered almost 20 coconuts.
After that, a time for my Daughter. Yesterday, after our obligations was done it was time to give time for my Daughter. This is what we always do everyday when we are here at my Husband's Farm, walking in this rocky road exploring the entire place. This is my Present and Yesterday's Activities in Life, thank you for stopping by and have a nice day to everyone.
