A couple of years ago, while traveling through Serbia, we spent a couple of days in a small town called Ruma. The balcony of our rented apartment offered a stunning view of the quiet old quarter.
We checked in late at night and didn’t see much, but the next morning we lingered on the balcony with coffee and cookies, listening to the gentle chime of church bells. Silence, soft sunlight, tiled roofs — and above them all rose the church bell tower. That moment could only be described as idyllic.
Of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures, and today I’d like to share them with you.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
