Wedding Day/2/MONOMAD CHALLENGE

in Black And White2 days ago

Good day and good start to the week to everyone in the Black And White Community 🙌📸

Since I described how this photoshoot came about in the first part, it would be pointless to repeat it. Basically, these are such wonderful, young people that it was a pleasure for me to photograph a very important day in their lives.

So, let's go see together Part Two, but First

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop Action-Black&White 1, 2 and 3.

This is all for Today, see you Tomorrow!

You mentioned you already explained about the photo shoot. Found the 1st part in a post published yesterday.
I was wondering about the filters you used: Any reason to go for this somewhat 'foggy' style for most of the stills?
Gives a nice atmosphere, but I can also imagine the couple would like more high contrast versions?
Very much like the yellow filter, giving the 'ancient' look&feel.

Thanks for the comment, I used Photoshop Action, Black&White 1,2 and 3 Filters. I personally like number 1, which gives a hazy impression, as you said. Since the bride knows my work, she asked for this way of processing the photos herself.

Thanks for repsonding and answering.
Plan to create some B/W-photos soon. Likely I will use GIMPS, if it still works on my laptop 🙏
Used Photoshop years ago, kinda like two decades ago. Back then already very powerful with all sort of handy features out of the box, incl bulk processing and such. But lost my license and didn't spend much time on photography since then.
