My relationship with the morning fog is a bit complex. There are days when I'd like to go for a long bike ride on a sunny morning, but instead, as soon as I stick my head out my bedroom window, I find myself face to face with all that fog gliding through the streets. So I just end up grumbling a little, but that doesn't stop me from taking my camera and heading out to wander in the town streets, taking photos and trying to get some energy by exercising, to face the day in my best mood... 😉

This is a purely photographic post. It's about photos that share a common pattern: "foggy streets around 6:30 AM in a horizontal 4:6 rectangular format." This is perhaps the most effective way for me to show the way as the streets of Montalbán look like in that time and with that weather. In fact, it's a selection of what I call "my usual streets," almost all of them belonging to or very close to the town center. This is an area where a thousand excellent things converge to capture in photos, especially if they're destined to be processed in black and white... I'm referring to things like: people coming and going in the distance, the chaos of electrical wiring and lampposts, the contrast between colonial house facades and many newer ones, the cracks, the weeds, the deterioration... All of that conspires to generate these very particular street-style photos...

Hey, with that fog, all I'd do is sleep. I need a lot of sun to go out and take photos. Enjoy your time as always!

Your photographs do help me look at the fog in my own city in the summer more kindly ... it really is a good element for photos especially in black and white ... what it conceals, and what it reveals sometimes because of what is not seen.

Oh yes @deeanndmathews friend, the fog transforms everything according to its whim!... Thank you so much for your visit, your appreciation and always motivating comment!... Have a wonderful Sunday! 🙏
