Hola a todos los apasionados de esta genial¨Black-And-White¨: Hace un mes aproximadamente que no participaba de este genial desafío #monomad de nuestro amigo brumest y tiene una explicación. La verdad es que recibí la visita de Iván; para los que no lo conocen, les comento que es mi hijo mayor, y como vino con sus seres queridos que no conocían la ciudad, estuve muy solicitado haciendo de guía de turismo. La verdad es que la pasamos genial; hacía mucho tiempo que no los veía y ha sido un placer enorme compartir bellos momentos.

Hello to all the fans of this awesome “Black-And-White”:It's been about a month since I last participated in this great #monomad challenge from our friend brumest, and there's a reason for that. The truth is, I had a visit from Iván; for those who don't know him, he's my eldest son, and since he came with his loved ones who hadn't been to the city before, I was in high demand acting as their tour guide. We had a fantastic time; it had been a long time since I'd seen them, and it was a great pleasure to share some wonderful moments.

Los que siguen mis posts habrán notado que el último que compartí en la comunidad ha sido silenciado por no cumplir con los "principios básicos de la fotografía", y amerita una disculpa a todos los que semanalmente publican en la comunidad y hacen un trabajo fotográfico increíble. Como les dije al principio, soy una persona que le encanta hacer fotografías y día a día está aprendiendo; agradezco su paciencia y comprensión.

Those who follow my posts will have noticed that the last one I shared in the community has been muted for not complying with the "basic principles of photography," and I apologize to everyone who posts weekly in the community and does incredible photographic work. As I said at the beginning, I am a person who loves taking photographs and is learning every day; Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Como les mencioné al principio, en mi ciudad estamos viviendo la época de "vacaciones" de "invierno", y muchas personas aprovechan el tiempo que tienen para hacer actividades al aire libre. Una actividad que muchas personas prefieren en mi ciudad es la "pesca deportiva"; si bien esta es una actividad que se aprecia durante todo el año, en época de vacaciones se nota mucho más la presencia de personas practicando esta disciplina en la costa.

As I mentioned at the beginning, in my city we are experiencing the "winter" "vacation" season, and many people are taking advantage of their time to do outdoor activities. One activity that many people prefer in my city is "sport fishing"; although this is an activity that is enjoyed throughout the year, during vacation time the presence of people practicing this sport on the coast is much more noticeable.

Esta es una "disciplina" deportiva que me gusta desde que era un niño; es una pasión que heredé de mi abuela. A la mamá de mi madre le encantaba pescar, y como era su nieto preferido, no me perdía una visita al río por nada. Lo que vino a mi mente eran los momentos de preparación, ya que era toda una ceremonia prepararnos para ir de pesca.

This is a sport I've loved since I was a child; it's a passion I inherited from my grandmother. My mother's mother loved to fish, and since I was her favorite grandson, I never missed a trip to the river. What came to mind were the moments of preparation, as getting ready to go fishing was quite a ceremony.

Lo que me gusta de esta actividad es que te permite "meditar" mientras el pez se decide a tomar tu línea, y en ocasiones pueden pasar horas sin tener respuestas en el agua. Esta serenidad se puede apreciar en las tomas que preparé para participar de este maravilloso¨concurso¨: 

What I like about this activity is that it allows you to "meditate" while the fish decides to take your line, and sometimes hours can pass without any response in the water. This serenity can be seen in the photos I prepared to participate in this wonderful contest
