Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I want to share with you a set of photographs that I took some time ago and hadn't shared with you yet.
All these photos are from a very special town called San Pedro del Rio, located in the state of Tachira, Venezuela, 1 hour away from where I live.
Un saludo a todos mis amigos en esta hermosa comunidad, hoy les quiero compartir un set de fotografias que hice hace algun tiempo y aun no las habia compartido con ustedes.
Todas estas fotos son de un pueblo muy especial llamado San Pedro del Rio, ubicado en el estado Tachira, Venezuela, a 1 hora de distancia de donde yo vivo.
What makes it special is that this town by law preserves its colonial facades, new houses cannot be built with other styles of facades:
Lo que lo hace especial es que este pueblo por ley conserva sus fachadas coloniales, no se pueden construir casas nuevas con otras estilo de fachada:
In addition to that, all its streets are cobblestone, which makes it feel like a town frozen in time, all of this has been quite intentional to give that magic to the town and attract tourism.
Ademas de eso, todas sus calles son empedradas, lo que hace sentir que fuera un pueblo congelado en el tiempo, todo esto ha sido bastante intencional para darle esa magia al pueblo y atraer turismo.
And if you look closely, you won't be able to see electric cables in any of the streets because all the electrical wiring is underground, and literally this is the only town or city in Venezuela that I know of that has had such a level of organization to ensure that its locality looks as beautiful and aesthetic as possible.
Y si se fijan muy bien, en ninguna de las calles van a poder ver cables electricos porque todo el cableado electrico es subterraneo y literalmente este es el unico pueblo o ciudad de Venezuela que conozco que haya tenido tal nivel de organizacion para asegurarse de que su localidad se vé lo mas bonita y estetica posible.
Thanks to the combination of all those things, it has become a beautiful little town where in every corner you find magical landscapes worthy of photographing!

All the photos were taken with my Canon R8 camera, a 24-105mm lens and only natural light.
