Today I am back with a new set of photographs, on this occasion as the title says, some photographs I took during a silver wedding in which I was hired to document everything.
I will start by showing you the photograph I took of the husband while he was waiting for his wife to enter.
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias, en esta ocasion como lo dice el titulo, unas fotografias que hice durante una boda de plata en la que fuí contratado para documentar todo.
Empezaré por mostrarles la fotografia que le hice al esposo mientras esperaba que su esposa entrara:
For those who do not know what a silver wedding is, here is the explanation:
Silver weddings celebrate 25 years of marriage, symbolizing a lasting, valuable and solid union, like the metal that gives them their name. It is the first great matrimonial celebration, often marked by the renewal of vows.

They held the entire ceremony in a very large and beautiful church and I was taking photos throughout the process without interrupting at any time, I was spontaneous and stealthy taking advantage of every opportunity to take photographs.
Ellos hicieron toda la ceremonia en una iglesia muy grande y hermosa y yo estuve haciendo fotos durante todo el proceso sin interrumpir en ningun momento, fuí espontaneo y sigiloso aprovechando cada oportunidad para hacer fotografias.
Once the ceremony was over they turned to me waiting for the respective photo.
Una vez terminada la ceremonia se voltearon hacia mi esperando la respectiva foto:
And then they made their triumphal exit.
Y luego hicieron su salida triunfal:
What they celebrated on this day is something worthy of admiration, 25 years as husband and wife feels like a lifetime and everything they have built together is to be celebrated!
Lo que ellos celebraron en este dia es algo digno de admirar, 25 años como esposos se siente como toda una vida y todo lo que han construido juntos es de celebrar!
At this point they left the church and all their relatives approached to congratulate them, they hugged, talked for a while and then everyone went together towards the couple's house, there would be the reception to celebrate all together, I also went with them to take more photographs and in that place I was finally able to take the post wedding photos!
En este punto salieron de la iglesia y todos sus familiares se acercaron a felicitarlos, se abrazaron, hablaron un rato y luego todos se fueron juntos en direccion a la casa de los esposos, allí seria la recepcion para celebrar todos juntos, yo tambien fuí con ellos a hacerles mas fotografias y en ese lugar finalmente pude hacerles las fotos post boda!
We used the different places of the house to have variety in the photographs.
Usamos los distintos lugares de la casa para tener variedad en las fotografias.
And we finished with a couple of photos in the living room of their house, which was very beautiful!
Y finalizamos con un par de fotos en la sala de su casa, que era muy hermosa!
When I was saying goodbye to leave, the husband asked me to take a portrait of him alone and the result was excellent because at this point the man was already relaxed and in confidence.
Cuando ya me estaba despidiendo para irme, el esposo me pidió que le hiciera un retrato a el solo y el resultado fue excelente porque en este punto el hombre ya estaba relajado y en confianza.
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm 1.8/f lens and a flash with a 50cm octabox diffuser.
In the end both the clients and I were super happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do.
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm 1.8/f y un flash con difusor octabox de 50cm.
