So a few days back, I had a meeting with some friends of mine. We're planning towards our upcoming event. And one of the things that the Spirit of God placed in my mind for us to pray about was believers having a sound mind, believers being strong, and believers having confidence in who God has made them to be.
I believe that one of the greatest pandemics we have right now in the church is that we have a lot of timidity and fearful people in the church rather than confident and faith-filled people. One of the devices that the devil has used against the church is that he has planted fear and insecurities in the mind of lots of people.
It's spreading across, you know, young and old alike. And I believe that this is one reality it's hinted at a lot of people from fully manifesting, their gifting and expressing the grace of God through their lives onto other people because they're probably burdened by the weight of their past or sins that they have committed.
And even though God has forgiven them of such sins, but the residue of the knowledge of the sin that they had committed and the wrongs that they've done in the past is what the devil uses to trap them in the past. Talking about insecurities, fearfulness in the heart of believers and i believe that what we need is people who are confident in who god has made them to be people who you know who are fearless rather than fearful people who are are strong they have a sound mind they have focus and they are led by the spirit of god you can't be fully led by the spirit of God.
If you don't have a sound mind and if you're timid, pray against that strongly on that day and one of the things that i would also love to pray for you also about is that god you know would help you to deal with that that overwhelming presence of fear in your life. Whatever it is that has been holding you bound for so long that has been causing you to feel as if you can't step out or to feel as if you are not loved by god or to feel as if you are not qualified to do that which God has called you to do.
I pray that that reality will be of you in the mighty name of jesus and you start expressing fully what God has called you to. Express the scripture says says "we have not received the spirit of bondage unto fear but what we've received is the spirit of adoption by which we cry abba father for the spirit be as witness with our spirit that we are"
