Casting
Dave Bautista and Milla Jojovitch share “the lead” role, but it can't be said that the acting is magnificent; there's something about it that feels off, unless that's what the director intended...
My opinion
I really liked the storyline, which unfolds like a post-apocalyptic role-playing game, where we follow the Witch's quest. The special effects are very good, in my opinion. However, as mentioned above, there is something slightly off-putting about the actors' performances, unless this is due to the French translation or a particular desire on the part of the production team. I can't say for sure; I would need the opinion of an English speaker who has seen the original version.
Nevertheless, I decided to let myself be carried away by the rather original story, in which we immediately recognize Milla Jojovich in her signature role as a Resident Evil-style “superwoman,” with her usual mental tricks in addition to her combat skills. And Dave Bautista, how can I put it, strong as an ox, with a few tricks up his sleeve as well.
So we move forward and discover just how clairvoyant the witch is, which is certain... She refuses no one an audience...
If you like this kind of scenario, give it a try, knowing that it's probably not the movie of the year...

Synopsis
La civilisation s'est écroulée après une terrible guerre qui a eu lieu il y a bien longtemps...
L'Église et le Vagabond maintiennent un certain ordre d'une main de fer dans "La Ville", dernier endroit sur terre où l'homme survit, au milieu d'un monde devenu vraiment très hostile...
A part quelques individus dotés de pouvoirs étranges qui viennent des pays perdus.
Un chasseur (Bautista), nous raconte l'histoire d'une sorcière (Jojovitch), il nous prévient qu'il faut avoir le coeur bien accroché pour entendre son récit...
Distribution
Dave Bautista et Milla Jojovitch partagent "le premier" rôle, on ne pourra pas dire que le jeu d'acteur est magnifique, il y a comme quelque chose qui gêne, à moins que ce soit voulu par le réalisateur...
Mon avis
J'ai bien aimé le scénario, déroulé façon jeu de rôle post-apocalyptique, où l'on suit la quête de la Sorcière. Les effets spéciaux sont très corrects à mon goût. Par contre, comme dit plus haut, il y a comme quelque chose de gênant dans la façon dont les acteurs jouent, à moins que cela ne vienne de la traduction en français, ou d'un désir en particulier de la production? Je ne saurais dire, il faudrait l'avis d'un anglophone qui l'aurait vu en version originale.
Néanmoins, j'ai décidé de me laisser porter par l'histoire, assez originale, où l'on reconnait directement Milla Jojovitch dans son rôle fétiche de "super woman" à la Résident Evil, avec des petits tours mentaux comme à son habitude en plus de ses capacités au combat. Et Un Dave Bautista, comment dire, fort comme un taureau, avec lui aussi quelques tours dans son sac.
Nous avancerons donc, et découvrons à quel point la sorcière est clairvoyante, ce qui est sur ... C'est qu'elle ne refuse audience à personne...
Si vous aimez ce genre de scénario, laissez vous tenter, en sachant que ce n'est probablement pas le film de l'année...
