And there you go, it's done, I signed my contract with SABAM (the copyright society in Belgium). The documents are being processed on their end. I am now one of their members and shareholders...
Thanks to them, I will be able to protect my works and perhaps be able to benefit from a financial return when my tracks are played in appropriate places.
I even wrote a little piece to celebrate this occasion, I will publish it tomorrow on my networks, the title: "Free to Create"... I hope you'll tell me what you think.
I know this is not a job per se, it must be considered as a parallel adventure, which, moreover, does me good.
I also hope to demonstrate, to myself first and foremost, that those who speak ill behind my back are wrong. That I am indeed making the necessary efforts to live with dignity despite current politics...
Finally, there you have it, another step taken towards artist status, hoping that this will be part of "my" solution.
My First album is accessible on Patreon, other albums are already being finalized. Their publication will probably be for next year, to give fans time to get this one and also allow me to finalize everything as it should be.
In the meantime, you can also activate a free account on Patreon to increase my number of fans and let others know that you support me. More complete, paid options are also available for those who would like to support me more actively.

Et voilà, c'est fait, j'ai signé mon contrat avec la SABAM (société des droits d'auteurs en Belgique). Les documents sont en train d'être gérés de leur côté. Je suis dorénavant l'un de leurs membres et actionnaires ...
Grâce à eux, je vais pouvoir protéger mes oeuvres et peut-être pouvoir profiter d'un retour pécuniaire lorsque mes morceaux seront joués en des lieux appropriés.
J'ai même écrit un petit morceau pour fêter cette occasion je le publierai demain sur mes réseaux, le titre : "Libre de créer" ... J'espère que vous m'en direz des nouvelles.
Je sais que ce n'est pas un job en soit, il faut considérer cela comme une aventure en parallèle, qui, en plus, me fait du bien.
J'espère aussi démontrer, à moi-même en premier lieu, que ceux qui médisent sur mon dos ont tord. Que je fais bel et bien les efforts nécessaires que pour vivre dignement malgré la politique actuelle...
Enfin, voilà, donc une étape de plus franchie vers le status d'artiste, en espérant que cela fasse partie de "ma" solution.
Mon Premier album est accessible sur Patreon, d'autres albums sont déjà en finalisation. Leur publication sera probablement pour l'année prochaine, pour laisser le temps au fans d'obtenir celui-ci et aussi me permettre de finaliser le tout comme il se doit.
Entre temps vous pouvez aussi activer un compte gratuit sur le Patreon afin de faire gonfler mon nombre de fans et faire savoir aux autres que vous me soutenez. Des options plus complètes, payantes sont aussi disponibles pour ceux qui voudraient me soutenir plus activement.
