I lean toward no reminder, either by a person or automated. The point is to put in one's own effort (albeit minimal). In my mind, part of that is one's own responsibility to do it without relying on an external reminder.
I !HOPE that my other comment does not appear to you as a complaint, as I still love your HBIT project! 🤗 !LOLZ
Thanks very much for your input on this!
I think we all had a good conversation that was civil and respectful.
I won't be making any kind of autocomment bot for the purpose of auto mining HBIT tokens. I will continue to mine them manually as I remember to do it.
Wishing you all the best!

It's good to discuss things. From my perspective, I'm getting signals from different angles. As you may know, the hivebits account recently got a big downvote/s into negative reputation level. The user was concerned about bad actors and "life" from the hivebits account. I'm guessing perceived spam was the concern (I'm really not sure). They were kind enough to un-downvote after I showed signs of life. Spamminess is one thing I don't want this project to come across as.
I think generally we're all doing the best we can on here, and we're willing to take suggestions for improving the way our projects work.
I had to add a check for "bad actors" with @tokenfaucet - I added a check for rep (to allow only those over 50 to get a gift token) and a check for being on a blacklist which would keep them from getting a token.
I don't know if you do these checks but if you need the js code I use for either or both, just let me know!
Right, we don't want our projects to appear or be spammy, I agree!
Have a good day!

I put a reputation check as well. It has helped. The go to way was to spin up new accounts and start pilfering, then aggregate them into a central account.
It looks like you prefer to discourage anyone (like me and @savvytester) reminding anyone else here on Hive about mining HBIT (especially on a daily basis) !INDEED. 🤔 I just stuck to the rule that only one HBIT mining per person (not per Hive account) is allowed, not that mining automatically or being reminded by other human or bot is discouraged. 🤯 I have been reminding some Hive users about mining HBIT (almost) everyday for several months. 🧘♂️
Starting tomorrow (UTC), I will stop reminding anyone to mine HBIT. 🤯 I will just spend the rest of my time today telling the Hive users which I remind everyday that this would be my last reminder to them to mine the token. 🧘♂️ I am still unsure though whether to also stop inviting people to mine HBIT the first time or after a long time of not mining it, since that might count as a "reminder". 🤯 I realized that about 8 of my comments per day are simply about mining HBIT on a given day (or the succeeding day if already mined during the day), which some Hive users would already consider "too many unnecessary comments". 🤯 I !HOPE that @kenny-crane reads this long comment! 🤗
I did read it, and I'm glad we all had this conversation that was civil and respectful. Thanks for your input and best wishes!

I !HOPE that you were not preparing for an "intense" reply (regarding the HBIT reminders in this case) !INDEED! 🤗 !WEIRD !ALIVE
kenny-crane, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (savvyplayer) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴☠️
