My Progress in Frontier Format & Upgrading Mystic Scaleweaver to Max Level!
In 2025, Splinterlands expanded its Ranked game modes by first introducing Survival Mode (temporarily paused for a rework) and then the Frontier Format.
The Frontier Format is a completely free game format in which only Foundation cards can be used.
The first Foundation cards can be obtained for free by completing Campaign Missions.
Foundation cards can be purchased and rented from other players, but they can also be obtained by claiming daily rewards for playing in Frontier Format, and they can also be used in Modern Format.
In Ranked Play, my favorite formats are Modern Format and Frontier Format.
In this post, I share:
- my recent Foundation card upgrades
- my daily gaming activity in the Frontier Format.
Upgrading Mystic Scaleweaver to Max Level!
I started playing in the Frontier Format on the first day of its release, starting in the Bronze league.
My game results improved as I increased the level of my Foundation cards.
I increased the level of my Foundation cards thanks to the daily rewards I received by playing and winning battles, and thanks to a few targeted purchases of summoner and legendary cards.
Today, I play regularly in the Gold I league.
The card collection I use in the Frontier Format consists of 1 maximum level summoner (Aurelia) and 4 level 3 summoners that I hope to bring to the maximum level soon.
As for unit cards, I was lucky in three weekly draws because I received three black foil cards.
I have few max-level cards, but that number is increasing, and I was particularly happy to find a copy of Mystic Scaleweaver in one of the latest Foundation packs I received as a game reward.
Mystic Scaleweaver is one of the strongest cards in the Frontier Format because at level 1 it already has a good magic attack (2 magic attack points) and a useful ability (Slow).
At level 2 (its maximum level), it becomes even stronger in battle because it gains an additional attack point for a total of 3 magic attack points, and it is the only card in the Foundation set that has 3 magic attack points.
I had 2 copies of Mystic Scaleweaver, and thanks to the last copy I found, I was able to upgrade to the maximum level.
With the addition of level 2 Mystic Scaleweaver, I now have six legendary cards of the highest level that I can use in the Frontier Format.

Thanks to the ability of the summoner Marlai Singariel, the magic attack of Mystic Scaleweaver increases to 4 points instead of 3.
I win the battle in Round 6, and the final winning attack is scored by Mystic Scaleweaver.
My Daily Game Activity
In Frontier Format, my daily goal is to win 15 battles in order to receive the maximum daily amount of Foundation Packs and Frontier Entries.
Today, in order to win 15 battles and complete my daily rewards claim, I played 29 battles.

Out of 29 battles played, I achieved:
- 15 victories
- 13 defeats
- 1 draw
- win rate: 51.72%
With 15 battle wins, I claimed 3 Foundation Packs and 9 Frontier Entries
The three foundation packs I received today were added to four others that I hadn't opened yet.
So today I opened a total of 7 foundation packs

Today I made further progress in upgrading my Foundation cards:
- Scales of Justice: level 2 -> level 3
- Hungry Ulund: level 4 -> level 5

Nel 2025 Splinterlands ha ampliato le modalità gioco di tipo Ranked introducendo prima il Survival Mode (temporaneamente in pausa per un rework) e poi il Frontier Format.
Il Frontier Format è un formato di gioco completamente gratuito nel quale è possibile utilizzare solo le Foundation cards.
Le prime Foundation cards sono ottenibili in modo gratuito completando le Campaign Missions.
Le Foundation cards sono acquistabili e noleggiabili da altri giocatori ma sono anche ottenibili facendo il claim delle ricompense giornaliere ricevibili giocando nel Frontier Format e sono carte che possono essere utilizzate anche nel Modern Format.
Nel Ranked Play i miei formati preferiti sono il Modern Format e il Frontier Format.

L'upgrade di Mystic Scaleweaver al livello massimo
Ho iniziato a giocare nel Frontier Format fin dal primo giorno del suo rilascio partendo dalla lega Bronze.
I miei risultati di gioco sono migliorati man mano che ho aumentato il livello delle mie Foundation cards.
Ho aumentato il livello delle mie Foundation cards grazie alle ricompense giornaliere che ho ricevuto giocando e vincendo le battaglie e grazie a qualche acquisto mirato di carte di tipo evocatore e di tipo leggendario.
Oggi gioco stabilmente nella lega Gold I.
La collezione di carte che utilizzo nel Frontier Format è costituita da 1 evocatore di massimo livello (Aurelia) e 4 evocatori di livello 3 che spero di portare presto al massimo livello.
Per quanto riguarda le carte di tipo unità sono stato fortunato in tre estrazioni settimanali perchè ho ricevuto 3 carte black foil.
Ho poche carte di livello massimo ma questo numero sta aumentando e sono stato particolarmente contento di aver trovato una copia di Mystic Scaleweaver in uno degli ultimi Foundation pack che ho ricevuto come ricompensa di gioco.
Mystic Scaleweaver è una delle carte più forti nel Frontier Format perchè al livello 1 ha già un buon attacco magico (2 punti di attacco magico) e ha una utile abilità (Slow).
Al livello 2 (il suo livello massimo) diventa ancora più forte in battaglia perchè acquisisce un punto di attacco aggiuntivo per un totale di 3 punti di attacco magico ed è l'unica carta nel Foundation set che ha 3 punti di attacco magici.
Io avevo 2 copie di Mystic Scaleweaver e grazie all'ultima copia che ho trovato ho potuto fare l'upgrade al livello massimo.
Con l'aggiunta di Mystic Scaleweaver di livello 2 adesso ho sei carte leggendarie di massimo livello che posso usare nel Frontier Format.
