RE: Hive at 0.137$: Problem or Opportunity? [ENG] / Hive a 0.137$: Problema o Opportunità? [ITA] - #Unto&Bisunto 48º Contest

Well, as we say in Mexico: "Hive the clown already killed him". Too many users are getting downvotes (just go to Discord to see how many are asking to be removed from blacklists), and that doesn't help at all; users are running to other platforms.

I don't know if this is part of Hive's price drop, but the price hasn't taken off for months; on the contrary, it's been falling more and more.

Sort:

Oh I didn't know all that staff of downvotes and what's going on on Discord... it's a pity as the atmosphere of users here is better than the other social media networks.

Indeed, I think Hive is a great option for sharing your work, supporting other creators, etc., but the big problem is the downvotes. Once you're on a blacklist, they demonetize everything and it's impossible to get off if you're on the list of @freebornsociety, @buildawhale, or @letusbuyhive, all of which are managed by @themarkymark who simply ignores attempts to remove you from the list (in fact, he downvotes my posts several times).

I'm currently on Blurt where I only earn 1/3 compared to Hive, but at least there are no negative votes there (that feature is not activated), it's not the same but at least it's going well for me at the moment.

I haven't been doing anything wrong on Hive or following problematic people; I was simply sharing my photos (landscapes, nature, etc.) on their platform. Why am I starting to receive negative votes then?

Well, let's see.
You content looks repetitive.
It would be easy to see why someone might combine that fact with your high ke ratio and think you might be farming us.
Either way, I don't know, this account follows flaggers with a dust flag to see who is getting flagged.
This account DOES NOT originate flags.
The flag you got from this account is less than .001hbd.
This amount is not worth even this much time.
I suggest making less repetitive content.

"Your content seems repetitive"

So what happened to "freedom" on Hive? I see tons of people sharing their hike reports on Actifit, and every day they say they went for a walk, took photos, etc. (they upload them), and I don't see them getting negative marks for being repetitive (besides, I don't see anything wrong with that).

Others upload recipes every few days for something they cooked, and that's all they post (repetitive), and I don't see them getting negative marks either, and again, I don't see anything wrong with that.

If we're talking about repetitive content, thousands of Hive users would be negatively marked, right?

"This account does NOT generate marks."

But I'm getting votes from you for everything I do that generates at least 0.02 Hive points, along with Buildawhale. Why? One vote after another for these two accounts. I don't understand why I'm getting downvoted from these two accounts all of a sudden. I'm not spamming, and I'm not arguing with anyone on Hive. Am I on a blacklist? If so, what can I do to get off it?

So what happened to "freedom" on Hive?

Freedom to say what you want, not freedom to earn from having said it.
Set your rewards to burn, and nobody will be flagging you.

You can't justify your wrongdoing by pointing to other wrongdoing.
IF you have concerns, fill out this form: https://hivewatchers.io/report-abuse
and/or ping tmm and ask him.

You are blacklisted, only tmm can help you with that.

You may try changing your content.
This has been shown to be effective in the past.

Thank you, I already requested @themarkymark to remove me from that list and there was no response.
