Muchas veces en nuestros afanes de la vida queremos que todo sea rápido e inmediato y nos cuesta aprender a esperar, pero saben existe un árbol de origen japonés que lo voy a utilizar como referencia para trabajar el tema de la paciencia, el aprender a confiar y esperar es la clave de todo que en la naturaleza.
Este árbol tiene una propiedad o características muy singular, el de ser sembrada a través de una semilla y solo está va a brotar después de siete largos años ¿se podrán imaginar esto? El tener que regar todos los días sin ni siquiera saber o ver una hoja del árbol brotar, pero como personas muy pacientes y constantes los japoneses continúan con esta ardua labor de nutrirlo, protegerlo y cuidar la tierra con la única esperanza e ilusión de que luego del tiempo establecido puedan observar un gran resultado.
Si hay algo que nos caracteriza a todos los humanos es el tener que confiar sin antes haber visto un buen resultado, pero durante este tiempo existe la esperanza prometedora de que el árbol está fortaleciéndose, enraizándose, sin mostrar algo aparente, los que desconocen la historia de este árbol terminarían por pensar que la semilla está muerta y que no van a observar nada, pero aquellas sabias personas que conocen el misterio detrás del bambú simplemente guarda con paciencia y confiando que algo hermoso va a brotar.
Finalizando el séptimo año, el bambú inicia su proceso de crecimiento tan pero, tan rápido que en solo seis semanas logra alcanzar más de 30 metros de altura. ¿Es algo totalmente sorprendente no? la velocidad con la cual este árbol crece, pero el verdadero detalle es que su crecimiento inició desde el primer momento en que su semilla tocó la tierra donde a escondidas sus raíces se fortalecían se extendían tan rápido para poder soportar el peso de tan majestuoso árbol.
Ahora bien, esta gran historia tiene una similitud particular a nuestra vida espiritual ¿cuántas veces te has encontrado en medio de una encrucijada? Donde con gran esfuerzo, oración, amor y optimismo has decidido sembrar una meta y por más que sigas perseverando e intentando no observas un resultado inmediato.
Por obvias razones llega la ansiedad y nos invade esa desesperación que nos lleva tan a prisa y nos susurra el oído nada está ocurriendo, por eso hoy mi querido amigo lector la invitación es simplemente una grande y poderosa, donde el gran padre amado Dios nos invita a confiar a comenzar a cultivar desde lo más profundo de tu ser esa gran virtud denominada paciencia, aprender a ver el éxito, no solo por lo visible, sino teniendo en cuenta que las cosas más sorprendentes inician desde lo más profundo de tu ser en el corazón y en silencio donde nadie los puede ver.
Deja tu afán y desesperación deja de vivir con tanta prisa esperando una respuesta inmediata y soluciones rápidas y oportunas donde tus metas están a muy, pero muy corto plazo. Ten presente que las bendiciones del padre se manifiestan de una manera única y especial, el trabajo en medio del silencio y por medio de procesos nos ayuda justamente a cultivar la paciencia, nos invita a vivir confiado. A seguir luchando aun cuando no veamos un resultado, a tener presente que aquel que inició esa hermosa obra en nuestras vidas la va a culminar y la perfeccionará porque nuestro padre amado es un hombre fiel.
Justamente allí es donde la confianza juega su papel más crucial, anclando nuestra mirada al creador, es ella la que nos permite vivir y hasta dormir tranquilo cuando aún en medio de la adversidad y de oraciones constante la respuesta no ha llegado, cuando entendemos y comprendemos que nuestro tiempo son muy diferentes a los del creador y que esto se pueden alargar simplemente nos queda cultivar la paciencia y continuar confiando.
Ten presente que no camina sola que aun cuando tus cargas la estés llevando sobre tu espalda y la sientas cada vez más pesada recuerda que no son tu fuerza las que te permiten estar de pie que de manera sobrenatural, omnipotente y omnipresente el padre está allí permitiendo que durante ese tiempo de espera tus raíces se fortalezcan para las grandes bendiciones que te van a sobre abundar.
Por eso en el gran libro de la vida existen hermosas y poderosas promesas que simplemente están a la espera de que tú abras tu corazón y te apropies de ella sigue esa invitación constante de buscar primeramente del reino de Dios y de los cielos confiar y esperar porque tenemos un padre amado que siempre está con los brazos abiertos cuidando de todos y cada uno de nosotros.
Está fascinante historia del bambú me recuerda que lo valioso y hermoso no crece de un día para otro, que las cosas fuertes y valientes requieren un tiempo, un proceso y que si tu crecimiento no es rápido e inmediato no le des importancia porque la espera, el silencio, la oración y la fe brotarán cosas grandiosas.
Si en este momento de tu vida sientes que la ansiedad te está invadiendo y te está hasta asfixiando, recuerda esta historia del bambú, no te rindas, no dejes de cultivar la paciencia, no dejes de nutrir tu crecimiento, aun cuando no veas un resultado inmediato, porque cuando llega el tiempo bueno agradable y perfecto de Dios tu crecimiento será tan majestuoso que todo el mundo podrá evidenciar lo llena de vida profundo y fuerte que son tus cimientos.
Solo debes aprender a confiar a esperar y observar como Dios está trabajando desde lo más profundo de tu ser. Many times in our life's endeavors we want everything to be quick and immediate and it's hard for us to learn to wait, but you know, there's a tree of Japanese origin that I'm going to use as a reference to work on the topic of patience. Learning to trust and wait is the key to everything in nature.
This tree has a very unique property or characteristic, that of being planted through a seed and it will only sprout after seven long years Can you imagine this? Having to water it every day without even knowing or seeing a leaf of the tree sprout, but as very patient and constant people, the Japanese continue with this arduous task of nourishing, protecting and caring for the land with the only hope and illusion that after the established time they will be able to observe a great result.
If there is something that characterizes all of us humans, it is having to trust without first having seen a good result, but during this time there is the promising hope that the tree is strengthening, taking root, without showing anything apparent, those who do not know the history of this tree would end up thinking that the seed is dead and that they will not observe anything, but those wise people who know the mystery behind the bamboo simply keep it patiently and trust that something beautiful will sprout.
At the end of the seventh year, the bamboo begins its growth process so, so quickly that in just six weeks it can reach more than 30 meters in height. It's totally surprising, isn't it? The speed with which this tree grows, but the real detail is that its growth began from the first moment its seed touched the ground where its roots secretly strengthened and extended so quickly to be able to support the weight of such a majestic tree.
Now, this great story has a particular similarity to our spiritual life: How many times have you found yourself at a crossroads? Where with great effort, prayer, love, and optimism, you have decided to plant a goal, and no matter how much you persevere and try, you don't see an immediate result.
For obvious reasons, anxiety arrives and we are invaded by that desperation that drives us so fast and whispers in our ear that nothing is happening, that is why today, my dear reader friend, the invitation is simply a great and powerful one, where the great beloved father God invites us to trust, to begin to cultivate from the depths of your being that great virtue called patience, to learn to see success, not only by what is visible, but taking into account that the most surprising things begin from the depths of your being, in the heart and in silence where no one can see them.
Let go of your anxiety and despair. Stop living in such a hurry, expecting an immediate response and quick, timely solutions when your goals are very, very short-term. Keep in mind that the Father's blessings manifest in a unique and special way. Working in silence and through processes helps us cultivate patience and invites us to live with confidence. To keep fighting even when we don't see a result, to keep in mind that the One who began this beautiful work in our lives will complete it and perfect it, because our beloved Father is a faithful man.
This is precisely where trust plays its most crucial role, anchoring our gaze to the Creator. It is trust that allows us to live and even sleep peacefully when, even in the midst of adversity and constant prayer, the answer has not come. When we understand and comprehend that our time is very different from that of the Creator and that this can be extended, we simply have to cultivate patience and continue trusting.
Keep in mind that you do not walk alone, that even when you are carrying your burdens on your back and you feel them getting heavier and heavier, remember that it is not your strength that allows you to stand, that in a supernatural, omnipotent and omnipresent way, the Father is there, allowing your roots to be strengthened during this time of waiting for the great blessings that will abound to you.
That's why in the great book of life there are beautiful and powerful promises that are simply waiting for you to open your heart and take ownership of it. Follow that constant invitation to seek first the kingdom of God and heaven, to trust and hope because we have a loving Father who is always with open arms watching over each and every one of us.
This fascinating story of bamboo reminds me that what is valuable and beautiful does not grow overnight, that strong and courageous things require time, a process, and that if your growth is not rapid and immediate, don't give it importance because waiting, silence, prayer, and faith will sprout great things.
If at this moment in your life you feel that anxiety is invading you and even suffocating you, remember this story of the bamboo, do not give up, do not stop cultivating patience, do not stop nurturing your growth, even when you do not see an immediate result, because when the good, pleasant and perfect time of God arrives, your growth will be so majestic that everyone will be able to see how full of life, deep and strong your foundations are.
