Feliz tarde queridos compañeros de hive, un gusto saludarles y compartir con todos ustedes, hoy deseo compartirles estás fotografías de una hermosa escultura la cual pude admirar en el centro de la Asunción, capital del estado Nueva Esparta, la verdad tenía bastante tiempo que no pasaba por estos lados, por qué esta escultura va a cumplir un año por acá y no la había visto, así que hoy la comparto con ustedes.
Good afternoon, dear Hive members. It's a pleasure to greet you all and share with you today. I want to share these photographs of a beautiful sculpture that I was able to admire in downtown La Asunción, the capital of Nueva Esparta state. It's been quite a while since I've been in this area, because this sculpture will be a year old here and I hadn't seen it, so today I'm sharing it with you.
La escultura lleva por nombre Ríos de luces, y fue realizada por el escultor margariteño Humberto Cazorla con la técnica del hierro, sus medidas son 5 metros x 3.15 metros x 1.7 metros, con colores amarillo y rojo, tiene una base circular y por el centro pasan tres lápices rojos con los nombres de 3 personalidades margariteñas, Miguel Ángel Mata Silva, Poeta y autor de la letra del himno del estado Nueva Esparta, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa , conocido como el maestro de maestros, y Jesús Rosas Marcano, periodista y compositor, todos nacidos en la Asunción, está obra fue inaugurada el 27 de noviembre de 2024, y es una obra para conmemorar el 424 años que le fue conferido a la Asunción el título de ciudad y escudo de armas correspondiente.
The sculpture, titled "Rivers of Lights," was created by the Margarita Island sculptor Humberto Cazorla using iron. It measures 5 meters x 3.15 meters x 1.7 meters and is painted yellow and red. It has a circular base, and three red pencils, each bearing the name of a prominent Margarita Island figure, pass through its center: Miguel Ángel Mata Silva, poet and author of the lyrics to the Nueva Esparta state anthem; Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, known as the "teacher of teachers"; and Jesús Rosas Marcano, journalist and composer. All three were born in La Asunción. The sculpture was inaugurated on November 27, 2024, to commemorate the 424th anniversary of La Asunción being granted city status and its corresponding coat of arms.
También en la parte delantera tiene un verso del Maestro Ilustre Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa dedicado a la Asunción, es una muy linda escultura.
The front of the sculpture also features a verse by the illustrious Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa dedicated to La Asunción. It is a truly beautiful sculpture.
