Hive tribal tokens (my expression, probably not what everyone calls them) are the ones associated with communities that have their own community front ends.

For example:

https://www.thebbhproject.com/ is the site associated with the BBHO token that you may (or may not) have a few fractions of. Such a site is basically a "Mirror" of Hive that shows only posts tagged with whatever tags are rewarded by the token is question.

As for which tokens offer what, it's mostly a matter of reading alot, and following the blogs of those who started a project.

        I checked and I have .27 BBHO. Interesting will need to look into that cause stuff like that is interesting. I really feel like I will never run out of things to learn on Hive. :)
