Si bien la semana pasada me encanto buscar ¨hongos¨ en las calles del barrio, tengo que decir que de alguna manera extrañe no hacerlo en la reserva, aquí siempre que venimos hallamos preciosas especies, como estos pequeños ¨ejemplares¨ : Estos son de esas especies que generalmente hallamos en el ¨predio¨ : si bien estos son pequeños, no siempre lo que encontramos son de este tamaño
While I loved looking for "mushrooms" in the neighborhood streets last week, I have to say that I somehow missed doing it in the reserve. Every time we come here, we find beautiful species, like these little "specimens":These are some of the species we usually find in the ¨property¨ : although these are small, what we find is not always of this size

Si en otra oportunidad no los hubiera visto a estos ¨hongos¨ : tan deteriorados, hubiera sido muy difícil identificarlos, por suerte en una ocasión los vi una semana seguida así supe cómo son estas especies cuando se están disecando. Estas son las cosas que me atrae de buscar hongos, que siempre estas aprendiendo algo sobre ellos, y es lo que me apasiona
If I had not seen these on another occasion ¨fungi¨ : so deteriorated, it would have been very difficult to identify them, luckily on one occasion I saw them for a week straight so I knew what these species are like when they are drying out. These are the things that attract me to mushroom hunting: you're always learning something about them, and that's what I'm passionate about.

Esta es otra de esas ¨especies¨ : que puedo identificarlos cuando están disecados, los hemos visto tantas veces que ya sabemos cómo son cuando los ¨hongos¨ no son frescos. Lo que siempre me llama mi atención es que aun así disecados se los puede consumir, solo hay que hidratarlos bien antes de comenzar a cocinar
This is another one of those "species" : that I can identify when they are stuffed; we have seen them so many times that We already know what they're like when "mushrooms" aren't fresh. What always surprises me is that even dried mushrooms can be eaten; you just have to rehydrate them well before cooking.
