Beca lives in a quiet village on the outskirts of the city, her family and the inhabitants are all coffee growers. That evening, as she watched the sunset, she saw some trucks with people dressed in white and wearing huge masks.
Beca ran out of the house to see where they were going, took her bike and went after the trucks to get to the end of the road, straight to the coffee plantations where her family worked, she stayed hidden, while she watched as those strangers poured the greenish and bad smelling liquid between the rows of coffee plants.
Without realising someone had seen her, so she fled the place, when she arrived home, her parents were not there, which seemed strange to her, anxiously waiting to tell them what had happened, she made herself a cup of coffee.
Anxious and waiting she pours her coffee, but just before she takes a sip she notices that there are green particles bubbling up, disgusted she moves away to notice that on the floor there are strange footprints mixed in with the mud and a jelly-like, foul-smelling green substance.
Beca tries to leave the place but when she opens the door she realises that she is surrounded by strange creatures with coffee bean bodies and long, purulent limbs, with a single eye that they flutter to identify and marry their new prey.
Within hours the town is devastated, crops are infected and thousands of mutant coffee bean creatures emerge from the earth to plant their new human prey.
