Last week I was very busy at work, as the International Tourism Fair was held in Havana. In the face of so much activity, my friend @lagoticaderocio, who works with me, and I had to spend a night in one of the rooms of the Cohiba Hotel.
Looking for a moment of calm after a hectic day, and between laughter and anecdotes, we decided to drink a chamomile tea just before going to sleep, using the electric machine in the room. Chamomile, in particular, seemed to be an excellent choice for its relaxing effects, which would help us to fall asleep better.
The coffee machine we use is a Torrié brand, and the products required are in capsule format. This brand sells a variety of types of coffees and teas, which are classified according to their level of intensity from 1 to 10, where 10 is considered the most intense flavor. These infusions also indicate the region of origin of the product.
The machine has a very simple operation, the water is placed in a plastic container located at the back of the machine, the capsule is inserted and the power button is activated.
The brewing process is quite fast, so in a very short time you can enjoy the delicious liquid. My friend is very fond of sweet flavors, so she immediately added one of the mini sugar doses we had available.
As for me, I enjoy unsweetened tea, because in my opinion you can taste much more of the flavors.
The warmth of the tea not only comforted us, it also spread a pleasant aroma of chamomile in the room.
