At last week's PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 137, I presented a photograph of a rock frozen on a cliff face. Today, I invite you to look at this rock from below.
For greater clarity, I used a Panasonic HC-V760 video camera with 50x zoom.
The stone seems much closer and it is really unclear what force is holding this stone on the inclined surface.
This is the closest my camera can get. It's a shame there weren't people near the stone when I took the photo; they would have served as a scale and helped me understand its true size.
To get a better idea of the location where the stone froze, here's an archival photograph of the stone on a snowy slope.
