Intresting eye-catcher and example of modern architecture / city urbanistica. Made this capture during my boat trip across the St.Petersburg this summer - obviously, these buildings were constructed exactly in this way, to be seen from the water. I bet - walking around them by foot would not inspire me to make a click at all.

The photo goes for #Photofeed #Cityscape #photography challenge.

Same spot just a minute later - ofc, the boat did not stop but continue moving forward, so the perspective was changing pretty fastforward, and the result is... dramatically different. Now you can see these fancy triangle facades is ... sort of a fiction, decoration, imitation. Behind it these are quite standard concrete parallelepipeds - the most common product of our modern architecture we are used to so much.
These buildings were made so much for shooting them! This is a thought I could not get rid off myself :D what do you think, dear all?

Another very different cityscape view a few minutes later.

...and another one.

I looked backwards and took another picture of the Neva-river bank, with all those buildings the boat just passed (what you see in the last photos I share). Just five minutes separate the first photo from the last. A river cruise through the city is a delightful opportunity to quickly see the city's diverse architecture and views, and to see it from a completely different perspective!

Ok, tht was all for today.
