Weakness attached to women is a social construct but women also assisted in fuelling this notion. Most women want to be taken care of without having to contribute anything, in so doing, unknowingly they delegate their right to have an opinion to their male counterparts.

Gender equity is a far more different concept than gender equality, in the sense that, gender equity seeks fairness and justice for all individuals and providing opportunities for every gender based on each gender strength and weakness but gender equality seeks equal opportunity for all regardless of gender, which is what most women are seeking.

The fact is, there are things men can do that women consider to be a struggle and there are things women can do that men can't. We all need a change of perspective, each gender needs understand and value each other place in the society.
