Basic education is necessary of all the children irrespective of the financial condition of a family. For children of rich dad it's nece6so that they can handle the business when they will be adults and for a kid of poor day it's required for that he or she can take them out of poverty. The basic education required to understand the basic of science and the basic knowledge of things happened around us. I understand the only education is not required for a successful life and experience for the life journey is also equally important but the basic education is the stepping stone for a kid. Knowing how to read and write give them the confidence and also ensure that they will not get fooled by someone else because of the lack for reading knowledge. I have heard of some stories in old days in which the thug people use to cheat with il-literate people. Some time the people also fooled by their own relatives by forging the document. The point is the people should be so much self-sufficient that they know how to read and write and they can prevent them selves form the shuch cheating.
If I talked about my country India then I must say that the basic education is fundamental right given to every child between 5 to 14 year itself by the constitution, and it's responsibility of the states to ensure it. If I talked about the gander then the law is netural to all and it give the equity right to both the genders. It's not the law, it's the society which restrain the girl child for a school. In the old time the woman were suppose to work in homes and taking care of their kids and husband along with the house hold was the main work for them. They hardly got involved in the activities outside the home and they do not even get involved in the activities related to finance. But now the situation has been chnaged and
Women are equally contributing in the economy of the country and they secure good position in many multinational companies. If I talked about my present company then itself the top three positions of my unit are chaired by the women. This only happened because of the education to them. Do you think thee can reach to such high position without going through the higher education or without compitative exams.
The mindset of people has changed in recent years and they understand that the women are also the part of wave which is developing the country. The women are not just for the home chores thay can contribute in the progress of nation also. Every year when the results of schools comes out the top scorer are mostly girls. On once side we are focusing on freedom of women and proper education to them but on other side in some rural areas or tribal the women education is still a challange. The population living in cities has broad mind and they are open and agreed for the girl education but in some of the rural areas and the major tribal area the women are still kept inside the boundaries of the home. But I must say this is reduction day by day. Hope that in recent years this will be totally eliminated from India.
