Almost all of us live in an independent country and all of us have the right to freedom of speech and we are allowed to speak of our mind. We have our mouths and we can speak whatever we want. There should not be any power to restrict us from it but at the same the other people have the right to counter our thoughts and say something which we don’t like. This is why it’s advisable to think before speaking otherwise we need to face the consequences for speaking.
Some people don’t think too much before speaking and some people speak after thinking or after understanding the situation. Those people who speak without thinking end up in trouble most of the time. The reason is quite simple. Most people don’t want to hear something when it’s something that they don’t like and it’s natural. It’s like people are not ready to hear someone saying something about them but they welcome people, it’s in their favor. They feel satisfied when people praise them and it’s the truth even if many people are not ready to accept it, but it won’t change the truth.
It’s not a good thing to bottle up all the thoughts inside one person and it’s also good to speak out about our mind and let others share our thoughts but it’s not advisable to speak without thinking. It may help us to give temporary satisfaction, but we may face negative consequences for such an action and that’s why we need to be careful when we speak. In this world almost all of us want to share our thoughts and most of us do it also but there are few people who want to listen to it. We can say they most of us are good speakers and share our thoughts without thinking too much but very few of us are good listeners.
In the present world people think about everything in a complex way. Even if we say something with positive intention, they can see it from a different perspective, and it can be opposite from what we want them to think. Sharing thoughts without consideration is not a good thing and it can hurt others. If it doesn’t hurt others, it may hurt the person who shares it also as all the people are not good and some people are very good at giving counterattack using our word against ourselves. So, I feel that speaking too much is not a habit. We should learn to stay composed.
I think most people love those who are good listeners. People want to share their thoughts also with them who listen carefully and talk less. They also know that sharing anything with a person who speaks without thinking is a threat and they also try to stay alert from that kind of person. A good listener can carefully understand the situation, and they have the ability to consider situations from different perspectives. Their response can be short but effective and powerful. They only speak when it’s needed and each word is carefully selected with proper consideration. Many time it says that silence is the best answer, and I also agree with it in many cases.
