Hello Hive Learners Community!!!

I hope you're doing well and enjoying a cool Sunday. It's full time work day at home for me. My mom went to visit relatives so it's on us to cook food and clean the house etc. Windstorm increased the workload. I wash kitchen floor windows doors and remove all the dust. I'm tired of having breakfast lunch and dinner outside. That's why I decided to cook lunch for me and one of my elder brother.

I perfer to cook something from the already available grocery at home. Struggling for one and half hour alone I cook Potato Rice with Pakora tikki. It was super delicious and I know you would love to try it that's why I am sharing the recipe below 👇:

Ingredients

  • Rice
  • Chopped Potatoes
  • Gram flour
  • Chopped Onions
  • Oil/Ghee
  • Red Chilli
  • Garlic Paste
  • Ginger Paste
  • Salt
  • Water

Procedure

  • I measure and wash the rice and soak it in water for 10 mins. While the rice was soak I peel and cut the potato.

  • I put half cup of oil in a deep pan and fry the onion on low flame until it turn brown. I sprinkle few drop of water and salt according to my taste.
Then I added Red chilli, Ginger and Garlic paste ad let it fry for a minute.

  • It's a time to add potatoes and fry it until it turn golden. Then I added two bowls of the water which double to the rice in weight.

  • After 3-4 mins I added soak rice in the pain and mix it with potatoes. I lid the pan for 10 minutes and let it cook.

  • I checked after 10 minutes the rice and potatoes was done perfectly.

It's time to make Pakora Tikki.

  • I mix the gram flour with chopped onions and potatoes. I added red chilli, ginger, garlic and salt in the mixture.

(I didn't not added green chili and coriander leaves but you can add to hoast the taste.)

  • I added half cup of oil in the pan and let it heat on low flame. Then I put on the mixture in the small quantity in the pan. You can use spoon to add the pakora mixture in the pan.

  • Turn it over once it turn brown. In a short while Pakora Tikki was ready and I took it out in the plate.

It's time to eat Rice and Pakora Tikki. You can leave your question and remarks about the recipe in comments..
