It’s actually really sad how this has lingered on for as long as we can even tell. We try to keep the precepts of our ancestors even when it is obvious causing us to fight the same wrong fights they fought.

Times are changing and it’s only a matter of time, people will no longer have ignorance as an excuse for doing these things. Deep down, they do it not really because it is what their forefathers have done but because it favors them in a way. But the moment it starts going against their own good, they will definitely start looking for ways to make changes.
