Stories from Grandma!!!!

I love to read history but I'm able to read during my adulthood but since childhood i always listen stories from my grandparents whenever we gotta chance to listen about past events and i love the story how they came here after independence and how they travel through train.

There were two types of people in Pakistan, one who are already here before independence and they are called local inhabitants of Pakistan or This land of piece before independence while others migrate from india and sub-continents they are called Emigrant or migrator because they migrate and my ancestors were emigrant because they migrate to Pakistan after independence.

My grandma always tell a story like this how they leave their assets in india and migrate to Pakistan with nothing in their bags and how Britishers create violence in their life and i always imagine that they go through a critical phase of life and thanks to God that they're safe, when I asked that our army didn't say to them and she give a answer like no our army also afraid from British army.

But another part of the event!!!

I think it was 2017 when I find a book from library is TRAIN TO PAKISTAN and it was written by sikh writer khushant singh and when I read this book, i know the other part of this event that not only our people died in that bloodshed but also many Sikhs, hindu and British died and I surprised to read that our army also burn their trains which carried by their people and burn their people alive.

Although i feel more sad to know that part because there's more bloodshed according to the book but at least i know the another point of the event. He wrote it in a fictional way but he nailed it and I love his writing because he didn't take side of anyone but he write truth that both parties suffer in that incident.

Final thought's!!!

I know when I listen about it from our grandma , i knew that we're the only victims and we didn't say anything in reply but later after know it from other perspective i know that it's totally different from grandma's story and from that book i was in love with writer 🤣 haha whenever I read some interesting books i easily crush on writers.

That's all for today and it's my entry in this week hive learner contest in #hl-exclusive for the topic #hl-w187e2.

Thank you for your time and support 🙏

It's true that it's ugly how it ends in bloodshed, but you said something that caught my attention: seeing it from another angle, the story changes, some win and others lose.

Yeah if we saw ot from another angle we know it differently but from all sides there was bloodshed and that's really sad

Wars have many sides, and most of the time, not just two... But, what's the same for all wars is that always innocent people die, and pay the biggest price... 😞

Yeah innocent people die in wars without any reason but still in this era we saw wars around us but hopefully they'll end one day
