Greetings!

Being a citizen of Nigeria to me is a pride and this is because of the way and manner God has created us in this country which is blessed with both mineral and natural resources.
Also, aside from this, my country is also blessed with human resources and that's why you will always see us doing well in every area and aspect of life.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “something good, something bad.”
There's no place on earth that doesn't have its own peculiarity either good and its opposite which is bad. The thing is just that, the bad should not be more than the good so as for us to have a better society.
As for my country, there's something that I'm not so palatable with and that's the current insecurity going on in the country. My country Nigeria has fallen into the hands of terrorists and bandits, kidnappers are also doing their own to destabilize the country and that's the state we have found ourselves in.
Although the government is trying their best and they are even telling us that they have conquered the insecurity and the terrorism ravaging our country, but even at that, there's no concrete evidence as to their claims and this is really affecting the psychological and emotional status of every individual in the country.
People are dying on a daily basis and this has really caused the country a lot of unrest both economically and peace wise.
This insecurity is happening to all, both young and old, men and women, Christians and muslims and to every tribe. Also, it's affecting the unity of the country, but I believe and pray things will become normal once again and the unity of the country would be restored back
On the contrary, one thing that I'm happy with in this country is that prices of foodstuff are coming down unlike before when the prices of things were on the high.
Then, people were unable to eat right as the price of things skyrocketed. Then, I could not afford three square meals and this is because of the lower price in income and the higher price of commodities.
Then, I could not take good care of my own family, not to talk of taking care of the extended family. But now, the prices have come down and I can now afford the three square meal and also take care of my families, both the nuclear and extended.
So, if there's anything that's making me sad currently in this country, then that thing is the insecurity and this is because when a country is not secured then nothing will move forward.
However, if there's anything that's making me happy, then that singular thing is the coming down of prices of goods and services which has made things easier for me and my family.
This is my entry to the week 205, episode 03 of the weekly Featured contest in the Hive Learners community.
