This life is about being born and when the time comes, to die and what this simply means is that there's time for everything according to the scripture, which to be born has to be a particular time and also, to die is another time of one's life. And even according to the scripture in the book of “ Ecclesiastes 3:2, we were being told that there's time to be born and a time to die which I have said earlier.
Having said this, I would like to share my opinion about reincarnation here. Though, the general belief of some people, especially some culture or doctrine is that there's reincarnation which might be true to them in their own opinion because of what they have seen or experienced.
This can be seen in my own culture itself where people of my cultural belief believe that people still come to life after death and for that reason they give names to a child born after the death of a man or woman. Names like Iyabo which means, “ mother is back.” Or Babatunde, “ father has come again.” Are testaments to the belief of the Yoruba people to this reincarnation of a thing.
Also, There's some doctrine that also believes in reincarnation which is okay by them and this is because it's what we believe in that would probably work for us. So, it's their belief that's is definitely working for them.
But as for me, I don't have any belief in the word reincarnation and this is because of the scripture verse that says, “ and as it is appointed unto men to once to die, but after this the judgment.” Though some may be of contrasting opinion to this biblical assertion, but as for me and my opinion, this biblical verse has said it all that we can only live once and after which is judgement.
Hence, I have no belief in reincarnation. Though, some might believe in it for the reasons best known to them, maybe because of the way the belief has really helped to relieve them of the pain of losing their loved ones.
Though, I'm only saying all these from my own point of view as it would not necessarily means people should believe or come to term with all o have said about reincarnation, but as for me and in my own opinion, I don't believe that reincarnation has ever existed, existing or would even exist.
In my own perspective and opinion, there's nothing like reincarnation which is all about people dying and coming back to life. If there's anything after death, it's a life that would be spent either in heaven or hell. But, when it comes to coming back to life after death, it's in my own opinion not possible. Though, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and if this is against your belief, just overlook it.
So, man can only be born once and also die once and after the death, no coming back to the world, but judgment.
So, I have not seeing anyone who had reincarnated before and this is the reason I would not even believe in such and this is because seeing is believing. So, for me to believe in what's not real would be difficult for me. But, if possible I can see one, maybe I would change my mind, but till then, I still maintain my stand of the impossibility of reincarnation.
