I 100% agree with what you said. AI can help us feel close to those we lost — maybe even understand our roots better than ever before.
But here's where it gets dark… We're already seeing people creating AI versions of loved ones and doing more than just talking — some are even using it for intimacy or romantic fantasy.
That’s where the line blurs for me. I know it’s not really them, but as a human who's felt loss… I can’t lie — I get it.
That loneliness, that need to 'feel' them again. But still, something about it feels wrong, like playing God in a way that distorts grief instead of healing it.
