I wanted to ask the landlord about it, but Iโd rather not know the real reason. Instead, I make my own logical assumption, like maybe the mannequin is there because of theft.
Most villages here in Sabah have this problem because the houses are separated from each other. If a thief comes by, an empty house becomes an easy target.
For example, I once viewed a 2-acre empty land with just a single house in the middle. Anyone could just walk in, chill, or even steal. Thatโs why itโs important for someone to actually stay there.
