In the evening after the 10 o’clock news, i sit out on the back porch and enjoy the sounds of the night life before going to bed.
I know this critter does not make noise that i hear but there are several that live on my back porch. And they consume a lot of insects. I say this not because i see them eating the insects but because of how big they have become.
The above one looks like it has a very full belly. I must say there are lots of small flying insects that do show up when i sit out there at night.
They climb on the walls and change their coloration based on which part of the wall or window sill they be on. There were alse several smaller ones scattered around the wall but these three had there dinner spots picked out on the window sill. I guess the light on in the house shines out the window at night attracting the insects for them to pick off as the bugs try to get to the light.
