I had always been interested in joining the Saturday Savers club but always had something else going on or it was just not the right time.
Well, I have decided this is the beginning of a new year and it would be the perfect time to join. I received a comment inviting me to join the new rebranded Savers Club.

This is my post to sign up for the Slothly Savers Club for 2026.
The challenge for me will be remembering to provide an update on a weekly basis but that also would tie to my goal of being more consistent in 2026.
Steps toward Dolphin
I titled my post "Steps toward Dolphin" as achieving Hive Dolphin status is my long term goal. This year, I will be making my way to climb even closer to the Hive Dolphin Status.
To reach Dolphin Status, you need to have slightly over 6,000 HP. I currently have around 4.2K HP so need almost 2K HP to reach Dolphin Status.
Primary 2026 Goal
My primary 2026 Goal will be to reach 5,000 HP. Over each of the past years, I have not been able to come close to getting 1,000 HP in any given year but this year will be different because I plan to be more intentional and consistent in my actions.
Currently I have 4,192 HP. Targeting 5,000 HP would be an increase of around 20%. Between content creation and content curation, I will create a plan to move toward that goal. I would love to hit that number sooner than later but a goal needs to be measurable, attainable and realistic. The realistic part is a stretch since I have never come close to 1000 HP in a given year. But it is worth a try.
Secondary 2026 Goal
I love playing games and am a big fan of Splinterlands. I would like my secondary goal to be related to the Splinterlands game. My Hive Splinterlands account is darmstrong
I have a SPS Validator Node in 245 Rank. I would like to move up in rank during 2026. To do this, I must get others to vote on my node and / or to increase my Staked SPS.
Since I can not control who votes for my node or how much SPS they have staked, I can control how much SPS I have staked.
Currently I have 74,286.813 staked SPS. Increasing this amount by 25% would be my target for 2026. That would be roughly 18,500 SPS which is a large number since I also have land that I am trying to optimize as well. For land you must stake DEC so it will be a balancing act that I will need to work during 2026.
Weekly accountability and reason to post
One of the benefits of joining the Slothly Savers Club is another reason to post and also the weekly accountability that is associated with establishing goals for the year.
It will be up to me to strive for the above two 2026 goals, but with everyone's support on Hive, I believe I will be motivated this year enough to continue and make it happen.
