As people age, they may begin to experience difficulties with remembering names or making decisions more slowly. However, these issues do not have a significant negative impact on social daily life! It is called MCI (mild cognitive impairment).
Around 10-20% of the MCI cases go to Alzheimer's or other dementia within one year! A study shows that following a certain lifestyle may delay this transition:
- MIND diet
- A moderate to high-intensity exercise program, and
- Engaging socially
