Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my Post. It's the alive and thriving report on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
The summer vacation is coming to an end gradually. In Oman, Salalah is the most favorite tourist spot. Besides tourists, it is said that mosquitoes are abundant in Salalah. We get some patients returning from Salalah suffering from mosquito bite-related issues. Yesterday, a lady patient came to me. She was having urticarial, itchy rashes on her face and feet only! The problem was the result of a mosquito bite!
Another boy came to me, also returned from a vacation to Salalah, with severe throat pain and unable to swallow anything due to the pain. I found his tonsils hugely enlarged and severely congested. He ate a lot of ice cream daily. His tonsils couldn't handle all the ice cream and became infected!
A mid-30s unmarried man came to me. He was suffering from coated tongue and infrequent soft stools over the last month. As he went "somewhat", he was worried that he might have caught A * * S. Indeed, an H * V patient may suffer from oral lesions as well as diarrhea. His coated tongue wasn't similar to the oral lesion seen in such a patient, but he wanted to do the test. Lucky him, the test came back negative!
On Wednesday, I consulted only 19 patients in my chamber. All four GP doctors were on duty. Hence, he workload wasn't much. As usual, I worked online from the office desktop. I also studied a bit! I examined some people who came for the visa medical fitness test.
At home, I had a second round of morning sleep and an afternoon nap. After 10:30 pm, I walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes. According to the Fitbit app, I made 10,591 steps. According to the Sweatcoin app, it was 10,583 steps! The steps earned me 0.5 $SWEAT!
Such an achievement! I got a 2M (2 million) steps badge onthe Sweatcoin app!
Okay. That's all for today. Alhamdulillah, I am alive, healthy, and thriving. How about you?
