Having recently returned to Hive with a renewed vigour and sense of bullish determination, I began to take serious steps to make note of my progress regarding varying Hive tokens and in addition I set some goals.
We are in May now so five months into the year.
The last ten posts by my account have been power up posts (including this one) as I look to immediately rectify my KE ratio. A few months ago I had a rude awakening seeing my account with a 7+ KE. So I set about making changes. I set myself a ten post challenge and this post is the tenth in that series.
Within the last week or so I have been able to use funds to correct this. Using those eight previous posts I had managed to get my KE down two points to around to a 5.2 KE ratio.
For those of you who are not aware, the KE ratio is a measure of your Rewards received divided by your Hive Power. The higher the ratio number is the more you are considered to be an extractor from the Hive ecosystem.

I checked the link above daily and found myself with enough FIAT funds to bring my score from 5.2 to a 2.7 at the time of writing so I did so. I powered up 188.630 HP. Since then I have continued to power up all Hive, taking me to 418.942HP total.
My goal for this year is to get to 1000HP. Figured if I shoot for the moon and miss I'll still get a good way of it completed.
My main account is: 2,256.276 SPS
My second account: 13.234 SPS (A serious work in progress- restarted half way through this season)
Both accounts are very much play to earn and I rarely am able to offer additional FIAT investment. With the need to update my collection for the new modern, I did use some FIAT to purchase a few packs for Conclave Arcana but this will likely be my only FIAT for a long while.
My SPS is typically converted via LiquidSPS to DEC so I can purchase cards or rent the appropriate amount of SPS. Every week, I account for my updated SPS stakings and where I started renting 60k SPS on my main account, I now rent 57,850 SPS. My second account rents 7.5K SPS and I work to reduce in multiples of 50 SPS. So progress is slow but steady.
I will be switching my LiquidSPS settings to stake all of my brawl rewards to the accounts. My second account is currently looking for a guild. It will be a low level account but it will be a regular brawler and I can contribute to buildings etc.
Truth be told I think this is the easiest to achieve goal as it will happen more organically now I have adjusted my settings. At my current rate I could blow past and hit 10k this year. But with the updated modern... I am just not sure yet. Who knows, maybe a big card pull from my packs and we could be talking.
In order to acheive the above goal, I will need to continue collecting cards and using Hive posts and in game earnings to do so. So I will be purchasing cards using HBD only earned through posts. I will retain the Hive Power gained and leave that well alone. Something I was not so good at previously.
I'd like to have a copy of every new Common, Rare and Epic Modern card. Preferably, I'd like to have the commons in Gold Foil but for now lets settle for the initial goal.
