Happy Chooseday π remember to always choose happy π I know what makes me happier -- cooler weather when I need not turn on the cooling system at all. Last night was pretty warm without any rain at all. I decided to treat myself to some cooling. It's a little cooler tonight, but still not there. However, my desire to cut costs is greater than my need for cool and comfort tonight. I thought then of treating myself to some ice cream instead.
This was an impulse buy last Sunday at the grocery store. I was not even planning to buy ice cream but somehow found myself on that aisle. I took a peek and saw this rather uncommon flavor. I love avocado. This combination sounds fascinating that I had to try it. π
So how warm is it inside the flat? Enough to melt the ice cream in my cup in less than five minutes. π I had to stop and eat it right away. π€£ Mmm, I'm glad I got this flavor. I now know that next time around I could buy some uncommon ice cream flavor at the grocery store. The 7-11 store near me only had the standard ones.

I would definitely agree with this, but I'd add one more word to it -- financial. I would really be happier with financial independence. π I suppose when we were kids, we wanted more independence to do what we wanted. However, we needed to do what we were told by adults. π School was okay, but I enjoyed the university more, as I felt I had more independence then. I did choose my classes and schedule and that for me, was more fun. π
When I was raising my daughter, I made it a point to let her have some form of independence. I guess it's paying off now, as she seems to be coping well in Barcelona. π On my part, I'm learning to be independent as well as I'm now living alone (with the kitties and guinea pigs). π I just wish I didn't have this mobility issue at all. π
It's almost the middle of the month. I'm hanging on somehow. Still, I'd be happier when July is over. π Let's just say I made a booboo with budgeting, so I'd need to work on that and make sure it would not happen again. π
I still do my daily steps as usual. That's from yesterday and today. I'm glad that I made this commitment to push myself to keep walking. An hour break from my pc is helpful too. π
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I've reached $1 on LL, aiming to get to the next payout.
It's a wrap now. Time to rest and recharge. Four more work days before the weekend begins for me. Enjoy a fantastic week y'all. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
