Happy midweek ๐ We're another day closer to the weekend.. weee! ๐ Time for a bit of reflection today. I missed my post yesterday as I had some sort of bonding moment with my daughter. She had two days off and shared with me this animation movie she enjoyed watching -- KPop Demon Hunters. I watched it and so we had a bit of discussion about the film. It's a throwback to the days when we shared movie nights. ๐ My movie buddy this time though is Lucky (my penguin plushie). ๐
I know I've been doing my purchases in person these days. I like that too 'coz I get to use my PWD ID and get some discounts from essential items. However, there are items that are either too heavy for me to carry or are simply not available where I purchase items. The down side to online shopping is the delay that can be encountered. I was supposed to receive more than these two packages yesterday. Unfortunately, the courier failed to deliver. ๐ Delayed deliveries esp. of food stuff does stress me out a little somehow.
Thankfully, my orders got delivered today. That includes this little sack of 2kg rice, can of peaches, almond milk cartons, jam and ketchup. At least these purchases take the load off my grocery supplies. I'm thankful they are delivered to my doorstep. ๐โค๏ธ๐ก Nevertheless, I don't like delays, so I know I need to find some solution to this dilemma. ๐ค
Trying this brand of almond milk for the first time. That's another downside to online purchasing -- availability of brands I like. However, if I buy these milk cartons in person, they can be a bit heavy. ๐ค

I really like this quote from today. It highlights the importance of being true to oneself. Authenticity does not come by too easily these days. A lot of the things we see on mainstream social media could sometimes be fake. ๐ I don't spend a lot of time on socmed anymore. I find that it's good for my peace of mind. ๐ I also now understand that we do not really need to share everything that happens in our lives. ๐ I'm glad for my journey as I'm getting to know myself better. For that, I'm truly thankful. ๐โค๏ธ๐ก Keep it real ๐ค
Wow, five more days and June will come to an end. Oh boy, I can feel 2025 ending soon. ๐ฎ Just enjoy each day. That's my advice to self. These days I try not only to count the days but also to make each day count. ๐
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Right now I'm halfway to $9 on LL. I'm nearing another payout. Yay!
All righty, time to wrap things up and prepare for bed. I've got three more work days before another day off. Can't wait... I do wish to sleep longer esp. during my weekend.
