Happy #thankfulThursday π remember to be extra grateful today! I know I am. Knowing that typhoon Ragasa (international name) passed by the Philippines and was out in no time and seeing all the devastating impact effects that hit HongKong, I'm thankful π we did not get hit so badly. β€οΈπ‘ Scary experience indeed. There is, however, another typhoon in the country at the moment. It's wait and see as it's forecast to have a landfall somewhere south of Metro Manila by tomorrow afternoon. π Let's see how it goes then...
Pistachio cheesecake and caramelized banana coffee latte. Life's little pleasures indeed as my daughter shared the above photo with me. She tried another cafe after her work today. Her two days off begins today, and she's off to sleep as she works the night shift. Hopefully, we'll find time to chat some during her two days off. π€ I miss the days when we'd explore cafes together. Barcelona has so many fascinating places to visit and explore. I'm glad my daughter somehow gets to enjoy them.
As for me, I'm working on increasing steps and improving strength through exercise. 4K steps is quite acceptable for me at this time. I will gradually increase that over time. Somehow I'm not in a hurry. I consider this my daily training. Consistency will definitely help me. πβ€οΈπ‘

I totally enjoy the series of quotes about learning that I've been getting this month. I believe that having a passion can be a good motivation to keep going in life, esp. if this passion is on learning. There is so much left to learn, so why don't we sit back, relax, and enjoy life's journey.
Oh boy, five days to go. Are you ready for October? π€ Will I be ready? π A new month actually brings me stress as I need to worry about monthly bills once again. It gets better when the month is half way through. π

Time to rest and recharge now. I've got two more work days coming. Weather is quite calm and quiet tonight. It also did not rain much. Is this the calm before the storm? Let's wait and see... π
