Wow, five days into the new month. Days are going by amazingly fast. Perhaps I'm just busy with lots of stuff on my mind. π€ What's happening with the world?! It's just crazy that we're on the brink of war once again. Is that really necessary?? Folks like me just want to make the most of each moment each day. Why make life more complicated?? π
Lunar eclipse from two nights ago. I spotted this as I was completing my walk for the night. It's more captivating in person and the moon was like 80% covered. Too bad my mobile phone could not capture what my eyes witnessed. π
Moon rising. This was actually from last night. No more eclipse so the moon could be seen quite full and bright. This was earlier on like past seven in the evening.
Going up, up, up. Took another photo around half an hour or so later. I think I was watering the plants that time. Totally love spotting the bright worm moon from the terrace. I believe this signals the beginning of spring in temperate regions. Here though, it's like summer now. The heat is somehow still bearable so it's not yet officially summer.
This was the moon around ten in the evening as I headed inside the flat to close up for the night. It's really too lovely. Totally π the full moon.
The extra steps from yesterday came from doing my bank errand and dropping by the neighborhood 7-11 convenience store for some purchases. I'm running short of steps for today though. I'm not sure why. π€ Let's see if I will be able to reach my target.
I finally got to try gimbap as I spotted two flavors at the 7-11 store. This was spam gimbap. It was okay I guess, but I do prefer california maki. π

Purpose over power. I felt like I did this when I defended the kitties' right to be around. Some years back I've had a real stressful situation when the kitties in the building were being bullied. I lost two of my well-loved cats then -- Twilight and Grumpy. To this day, I have no idea what happened to them. They were both five years old. I had to reason out with the local district staff and reminded them of the animal welfare act. That time they tried to remove some of the remaining cats and planned to place them in a sack. π‘ They were not removed but honestly, I still worry for the welfare of the cats outside. That's one reason why I wish to have my own place and provide a real home for the kitties, away from lots of other humans. π
Twenty-six more days to go. For now, let's pray for peace πβ€οΈπ‘ To be honest, I do not know how this war could impact our lives. For sure, it would have economic impact. Cost of living is so high already as it is... SIGH! π
