Last night we got a call at about 10:30pm from a brother, informing us about the passing of a loved one. That call broke me that I went to bed with that feeling of brokenness.
Waking up in the morning, I had mixed feelings; grateful for the gift of life and wallowing in sorrow of the sad news I went to bed and got up with. Life at best is very brief, we need to live our best while we can.
I rushed to the house of the deceased to meet with the family. Most of my day was spent there - an unplanned event. Sometimes, life reschedules our plans for the day that we can't do anything about it but just watch and see how things unfold.
I just managed to make this late post after I left the place. It is well!
