Warm greetings everyone!
How are you doing on this beautiful Thursday! Trust you're well, hail and hearty. It's a privilege and priceless blessing to be awesome, alive and thriving. Welcome to a brand new day and to my blog.
Everyday is a gift, we ought to embrace it with all gratitude. The day is flying so fast, I can't believe we have 5 days to go already in this month of September. It's incredible how time flies while we still think we have it at hand.
July is usually the month we have the most rain in the year, but this year we rarely had rain in the month, contrary to weather forecasts prediction.. August was even a bit wetter than July because there was no August break. Then came September, from the first day of the month till today being 25th it's been rain upon rain.
As humans, people will always complain when things don't go their way ( even in a climate that we have no control over, lol). But we sometimes don't seem to come to terms with that, human nature.😁 While we may not want the rain at the moment due to our personal reasons, someone somewhere is earnestly praying for it. Especially farmers.
My orientation changed on how I react to weather and certain things when I heard the story of a man who almost got electrocuted while trying to fix one of his home appliances. He was alone in the house, there was no one to help him turn off the power from the main switch. But suddenly the weather changed, the next was rain with lightning and then power outage. That was how he got rescued miraculously.
The fact is, we cannot all be pleased at the same time. We just have to appreciate every moment and make the most of it. Rain, shine, humidity, etc. are for a purpose and for the good of man, plants and animals, whose effects also make life beautiful and as such we owe it as gratitude to our creator.
It's #thankfulthursday and I'm super grateful for this wonderful day, the speedy, rainy month of September, lol. The blessings of having an amazing family, and friends here on Hive and everything in between. It's indeed heartwarming. Sometimes it comes with an inexplicable feeling of joy. It's indeed good to be alive and thriving.
What are you thankful for? Let me see your feedback.
