Alive and Thriving - 05.18.25, Sunflowers and a Firewheel!

So friends, for this evening I wanted to share a few photos of the #aliveandthriving Sunflowers that are growing all over currently and a Firewheel photo that came out nice and crisp - for a change!
So the first Sunflowers that I got are actually growing pretty close to my house - across from the end of my street!

So last week on Thursday or Friday (I forget) I was out riding on the bike and I noticed this Wild Sunflower "bush" and was wondering about any good photo possibilities,

I walked around it a bit and found these two flowers that looked good. Here's the first one,

I believe is a bit more mature than this second one.

Along the way I saw this Firewheel and had to take a photo,

Vibrant!
I rode on and finally decided to go down the Channel and see what is going on down there. Down the Channel it seems that there is a different variety of Wild Sunflowers growing. This is a look with the plant itself,

And a flower. The flowers do look the same but the plants are quite different. These are much stockier!

Wow, those sound like such vibrant and beautiful sights.
Sunflowers always have a way of brightening up the day, and it’s so cool that they’re growing so close to your house.
