I normally would not post about buy in car - though maybe I have in the past...
But since this adventure has been going on behind the scenes for a week - I think I can share!
So.. last week I was "trying" to get an auto loan from my bank - and just to mention... I do have a pretty decent credit score (pay off those "crappy" student loans!). So...
This was Tuesday, loan officer not in. Submitted application, he will get back to me Wednesday. Wednesday no call so I call. They won't do 48 months but will do 24 - I say OK. No call Thursday. I call Friday early afternoon... "Declined"!?!?
Well, head suspected but was not 100% sure but the Bank does not like me?!?! So I forgot about it - till I drove the truck again. Well it runs very well, and that's it. Steering going, A.C. out, and a hundred other things. Sadly I have replaced the "fuel pump and filter, alternator, mass flow sensor, heater blower motor, and water pump - along with plugs and wires and other small things... It runs well, that's it. Anyways I remembered after the drive that I needed a car and after looking and driving a few of them (really) I got this - at a good price, It's a 2021 GMC Arcadia,

Even compared to the (old) 5.0 the Explorer had - this has a lot more power! And A./C.!

Well it's now history, but I wanted to make a post on it as the old Explorer "did" take me to a few places that I took photos to post here on HIVE.
