Alive and Thriving Pelican Fly-by!

Hello friends!
Happy " #aliveandthriving Sunday evening" To You!
✨🙋🏻‍♀️✨
And, Thank You so much for your visit!

So on July the 4th I got a little lucky and managed to catch a "Pelican Fly-by" at the Park and wanted to share it with you this evening.

Pelicans are awesome flyers, even if somewhat clumsy on foot. But flying, they look like dive bombers!
Here he just turned the corner and is heading at me!

Here it is somewhat over head,

And passing by, it looks "Prehistoric"!

At this point it got close to the water and flew towards the lower Breeding Pond,

And a few more photos heading South,

And then it was gone! I was pretty lucky to get the whole Fly-by, normally I do not so I absolutely wanted to share this with you this evening so that you could see an #aliveandthriving Pelican - "in-flight"!

In Type 1 Diabetes, like other autoimmune diseases, the body's immune system attacks its own tissue/organ. In diabetes (type 1), the Beta cells of the pancreas become the target.

A new promising drug, called Teplizumab, is believed to correct the mistake of the immune system, to some extent, delaying the necessity of Insulin, the only effective treatment for type 1 DM.

Pelicans really have a special grace when they are in the air, it is impressive to see them.
