Alive and Thriving Sunday, A Bike Ride and Sunflowers!

So friends, this afternoon I wanted to get out and ride around the area a little. I took out the Black bike and headed over to the Park. I did see a few people fishing on the Pier,

This is a look with some of the shore and yes... That's "Red Tide". I would not (I don't anyways) fish in that,

Here is a closer view, and yes it's that red, actually it's a bit redder,

Well, I was not expecting the Red Tide and it also makes the water a little "smelly" so I left there and went a little inland. Here I passed the old Dockside shop where the "Kite Surfers" (local ones) buy a lot of their gear,

And I decided to take some photos of the wild Sunflowers I was passing.
This one has a Bee,

I believe this one is going to seed. I had to hold it because the breeze suddenly kicked up,

And this one has some strange looking beetles,

I could have gone on forever as there is a lot of Sunflowers growing out here this year, but decided to leave the rest alone for now!

I left there and passed on the far side of the road the "Wind and Wave".

They were at one time somewhat affiliated with the Dockside shop - but I believe no longer.
From there I rode home as it was getting a little late in the afternoon.
