This evening I have something different I wanted to post for you.
My trip to get "Splash" spayed at the clinic. At first I didn't think about it, but after I got there again (afternoon pick-up) I got the idea!
This is the sign from the road,
The "Madison's Clinic" is located inside the facility, Pee Wee's - which is "HUGE"!
At the clinic is where they perform "spay, neuter, and other surgeries".
And now to the rest of the facility and how "Huge" it really is!
This is a look down the back of the facility,
And down drive that leads to Madison"s clinic.
On the left is buildings where Dogs live (inside its a regular apartment style layout) - on the right is some Shade Structures for them as well!
In this building is another Animal Hospital in the facility,
And this is another building, "Lucky Lodge".
Here I believe is where the Dogs that are being adopted go first. This facility adopts out about 300 Dogs per month, and that is not counting other animals - pigs, lambs, birds, etc... But today I was focused on Cats - but ended up in a dog area!
Up on the ramp you can see a large tan Dog looking at me,.and it came right over to the gate where I was,
And brought a friend!
And then we watched each other for a moment or so. Since it's at the Lodge area so I imagine in the next day or so someone is coming to get it.
This is how the front doors look. This is at the Tang building. As you can see they take this all very seriously!
This is the "Recovery Center",
And this is the "Special Place".
I have no idea what that means but, a lady was sweeping, so - they have people cleaning!
They also operate this "Mobile Animal Hospital" that drives around the County and provides "low-cost" vaccinations.
And that was my trip today to Pee -Wees! Needless to say after I paid for the spay operation I also donated a few bucks because I really do admire what they do at this Place! And they do have a few more buildings than I am showing you this evening.
And that was my #aliveandthriving Thursday!
