Hello friends!
Happy #aliveandthriving New Year's Day to You!
✨🙋🏻♀️✨
And, Thank You so much for your visit!
This is the first #aliveandthriving post of the new year "2026", and the first thing I want to do is wish everyone the "Best Upcoming Year - Ever"!
That's what my plan is!
And so, on to the first day of the year.
It was really pretty calm, and New Year's has been getting calmer over the years in general - here.
One of the first things I saw was this Contrail off in the distance,

People can say many things, but here is what I noticed... You don't see them when the "air is blowing out to sea, only when it's blowing inland"...
Well conditions looked pretty good and it was 70°F+ / 21.11C+ so I went out on "Brutus"

to a friend's and then to the Park,
First I saw a Heron out in the water,

And a few views down the Shoreline,

I noticed a mild Rainbow effect around the Sun and wanted to share it with you.
These Gulls were defending a dead fish that they found,

Then I got lucky and caught this Seagull as it flew past,

And I talked with a few people and went home. At the end of the driveway the Sun was going down and I got lucky (again) and caught it with the Electric Pole,

And that was about it for today!
I want to thank you again for your visit and am Wishing you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe 2026!
