Yesterday I took a bike ride down the Channel and took a few photos that I would like to share with you this evening - mainly to show you how low the tides in the Gulf are right now.
So I started at the Park, and this is a view South along the Shoreline,
And a look out towards the middle of the Channel,
And yes, extremely shallow! That's an Ibis standing out there amongst Seagrass!
At this point I became a little curious so I rode down the Channel and there I saw pretty much the same. This is a guy fishing and you can see the Seagrass in the water - very low tides!
As I was about to give up and try something else, this guy came Kite Surfing along!
Here he got it in the air!
And then here he did a flip!
And away he went! It was probably a bit too dangerous to do that any closer due to the low water depth!
