So friends, this evening I have a few photos from my #aliveandthriving Monday that I would like to share with you. It was mostly an overcast day - here, but I did find a few things of interest!
So to get started, this "Purslane" that a friend gave me a few weeks ago has totally taken off!
I will have to re-pot it very soon!
After awhile of general house chores I went for a bike ride over to the Park. Right away I saw this "Turkey Vulture",
And it saw me as well! It dive bombed in my direction,
And then shot in front of me and though the parking poles and away!
With the wind, I would say that was pretty good!
To the left I saw this Heron hiding in the bushes,
This is a look across the Channel at Padre Island, and yes - the tides are back!
I also found this Western Sea-purslane growing,
And this one has an insect!
Since there was not much to see I was going to leave and I saw these two Ducks in the stream,
They saw me and headed for the water,
And swam upstream - keeping their distance,
They must have decided I was of no harm so they stopped,
And started looking for food again,
Well then I decided to go ahead and leave and while doing so I caught a group of Seagulls swarming the Water Treatment Facility,
After that, I did finally head home!
And that was my #aliveandthriving Monday!
